Barr-Reeve Girls Golf Makes History with State Finals Appearance The 2025 Barr-Reeve High School girls golf team etched its name into school history with a season to remember — one defined by grit, teamwork, and an unprecedented level of success. For the first time ever, the Lady Vikings advanced to the IHSAA State Finals, capping off a remarkable postseason run that will be remembered for years to come. Barr-Reeve finished second at the Sectional and followed that up with a third-place finish at the Regional, securing their place among Indiana’s elite 18 teams to compete at the state championship. Even more impressively, Barr-Reeve was the only Class 1A school in the entire state to qualify for the finals — a testament to the team’s determination and talent in a sport dominated by larger programs. While the trip to the state finals marked the culmination of the season, it also set a new standard for the future of girls golf at Barr-Reeve. The Lady Vikings have proven that a small-school program can compete — and succeed — at the highest level.
